What training / education they need to get a job in IT?

Currently I have a degree in finance and business, I can not find a job. Alway been interested in computers and technology. I often search for job openings, and almost always see openings in the IT field. what kind of training again I have to enter the field? local community colleges offer associate degrees in network courses: PC troubleshooting, knowledge repair, desktop support, network administration and router / switch configuration. The College also offers a software development program. The university offers associate degrees and certificates. is paired with my BA enough to do the same in the field, or if I'm working on a BS or BA, and possibly access to a Maestro top of the field?
